Discover the hidden urban wildlife on your doorstep (and local mill chimney)
About
The Bradford Peregrine Trail aims to give a helping hand to our urban Peregrine Falcons, whilst engaging local people with these fabulous birds. We are volunteers who love Peregrines and love Bradford! We want to bring the benefits of wildlife watching to Bradford's citizens, which we think includes: learning and education, well being and mental health, and the simple thrill of watching the fastest animals in the world.

The Trail connects and highlights five locations across the Bradford area where Peregrines are frequently seen and sometimes breed. In the countryside, Peregrines will nest on cliff ledges and rocky outcrops. Tall buildings, like the mill chimneys of Bradford, make excellent urban habitats for these birds.

The project is a partnership between Bradford Peregrines, Bradford Urban Wildlife Group, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and our project funder, Natural England.
